This article is about the The Cubist Experiment

The Cubist still lives are peopled with violins and bottles, pedestal tables and newspapers, glasses and guitars. Devoid of any action, this pictorial genre was ideally suited to the plastic experiments of Braque and Picasso between 1910 and 1914. There, the object is represented in its countless facets and through a diffracting of picture planes whereby it is developed in space. The monocular vision of classical perspective is shattered into pieces by virtue of a multiplication of planes intercut across the surface of the painting. Il cubismo  è popolato da violini e bottiglie, tavolini e giornali, bicchieri e chitarre. Privo di qualsiasi azione, questo genere pittorico è ideale per gli esperimenti plastici di Braque e Picasso tra il 1910 e il 1914. Qui  l’oggetto è rappresentato nelle sue innumerevoli sfaccettature e attraverso una diffrazione dei piani di immagine per cui si è sviluppato nello spazio. La visione monoculare della prospettiva classica è frantumato in pezzi in virtù di una moltiplicazione di piani intercut tutta la superficie del dipinto.
